I
have had the honor of working with individuals and families privately,
in the hospital setting and through non-profit organizations including
Texas Children's Hospital, Methodist Healthcare Ministries and the
Harris County Department of Education.
Working with clients has
led me to the conclusion that counseling is far from a "one size fits
all" situation. My approach with clients is to discover and understand
where they feel "stuck" and then guide them towards counseling
modalities.
I enjoy counseling individuals from diverse
backgrounds, cultures lifestyles, values, and beliefs. Sometimes
individuals come into counseling feeling stuck in life, from depression,
anxiety, addiction, past trauma, or a breakdown in relationships.
As
your counselor, it is my privilege to walk with you through these
"stuck moments" and begin discovering those places within you that
contain healing, growth, reconciliation, confidence, and trust
